Where do you find your inspiration?
I find my inspiration from published pictures of crazy different hairstyles that I have not yet learned makes me strive to achieve them. Another inspiration would be from other dressers that have succeeded in their business. Global Connection is a huge inspiration for me as well from the education classes to the runway shows.
What gave you the desire to become a hairdresser?
My mom, who was a hairdresser, was always so beautiful and glamorous.
What is your favorite era in hairdressing and why?
My favorite era would be the early 1900's as hair procedures were more so experiments. I am grateful for the people that took on the discoveries for our industry.
What attracted you to Kromatic?
I was attracted to Kromatic for its reputation of being a fashion forward salon with a rebel style.
What is your favorite bad hair moment?
In hair school, I was not educated as much as I needed to be and a male guest came in to have a color service just for grey coverage, so I mixed a higher volume of developer and he became a blonde oops! This was a great test for me to actually re- formulate and get him to his natural color.
What has been the greatest moment of your career?
My greatest moment in my career was while working at Kromatic hair, when I entered the Classic Contemporary category for the Eufora International hair competition "Global Connection 2011." I went there with only the expectation of furthering my education and was shocked when I heard my name as a finalist, I will never forget this moment.

Anything funky, fun, out of the box, as well as long, sexy layered cuts.
What aspect of hairdressing do you most enjoy?
I enjoy the end of each service when I am able to see each accomplishment. |
