I started 2 years ago at Kromatic hair as an assistant and have worked my way up to being a stylist.
Where do you find your inspiration?
My inspiration comes from my surroundings and everyday life mixed with imagination and creativity..
What gave you the desire to become a hairdresser?
I've always wanted to do something that helps people. I was drawn to this profession because I get fulfillment from helping others feel good about themselves.
What is your favorite era in hairdressing and why?
If I wore to choose era, it would be the present styles because I like the different varieties. They are edgy, trendy and people are not afraid to experiment with color.
What attracted you to Kromatic?
I was impressed with the emphasis on training and education. The staff is supportive and professional.
What is your favorite bad hair moment?
3 years ago while modeling for the long beach hair show the stylist cut my hair dry and I was wearing lipgloss and the hair was sticking to my lips. He was demonstrating Asymmetric haircut. So the audience could see all the hair stuck to my lips and I tried to blow it off but wasn't able to. To this day people still talk about that moment.
What has been the greatest moment of your career?
I was fortunate to begin my career at kormatic hair. Most stylists don't get that opportunity right from the start. Working at kormoatic hair, a high demand salon, has been grestest moment of my career.
What aspect of hairdressing do you most enjoy?
I most enjoy seeing clients who love the style that I have given them and their genuine smile and happiness is very satisfying.
