What is your craziest story from working backstage?
When I was working at Eufora’s Global Connection we were rehearsing the night before the show, and it just so happened to be the marine core ball that night. There were a few Marines watching. We needing some help with our “marching “ , so we asked them to show us. They looked so great that we had to ask them to be a part of the show. It was a hit.

Where do you find your inspiration?
I like things that are different shapes, art clothes and colors. My inspiration comes from all things unique. I love to mix it up; putting together a sheek and classy style for my clients.

What gave you the desire to become a hairdresser?
When I was younger I always loved making others feel beautiful. I played with friends and familys hair. It wasn’t until I worked in a salon as receptionist when I realized I can make a career out of something that I loved… and it just so happens I’m pretty darn good at it.

What is your favorite era in hairdressing and why?
80’s all the way!! There is such a variety with 80’s hair. Big, curly punky and lots of great shapes not to mention hair spray is one of my favorite products! Ha Ha!

What attracted you to Kromatic?
Kromatic has a very positive vibe. They are education driven. I like to surround myself with an environment that is going to improve my skill and with people I can grow with. Education is a huge part of my career. I am always hungry for new ideas and trends and I will never stop growing.

What is your favorite bad hair moment?
Shortly after I started working in my first salon I learned a huge lesson. I was working on my best friends hair. I was cutting away going back and forth between my shears and my texturinzing shears, I picked up a section hof hair and I wanted to “texture” the hair but instead I had my “shears” in my hand and took about 4 inches off. Right away I realized what I did and I burst into tears my girlfriend started cracking up! She was such a good sport! So now I always look at my hand to see what tool I have before I cut.

What has been the greatest moment of your career?
When I was a new stylist I had the opportunity to sit in on my first Eufora class. The educator had such passion a passion that I knew I shared. When I realized what Eufora stood for and how they respected this industry I knew right then I had to be a part of “Eufora”. Eufora has given me the foundation of my career; from business, product skill, and education. Thank you Eufora!!!

What aspect of hairdressing do you most enjoy?
I think it’s the energy I share in the salon everyday with the people I work with; Sharing ideas, pushing each other. I think when you surround yourself around positive people that share that same passion that has you be “the greatest aspect of hairdressing”. I can’t wait to share my passion with you, so we can achieve your look together.
